Grew up on a farm with row crops, cattle, and hay near Fairfield, Iowa. After graduating University of Iowa Law School, employed as a residential and commercial carpenter for approximately four years in Jefferson County. Continue to work on father’s farm and jointly own a registered black angus cattle herd. Sat for the Iowa State Bar Exam in 2005. Went into the law practice with father David Miller in Fairfield, Iowa in the same year.
